Temperature specification is the primary consideration. It is essential to match the card’s temperature range to the environment’s extreme temperatures, with a 5-10°C buffer to account for fluctuations. For low-temperature environments like plateau base stations or outdoor rail transit, prioritize models with a minimum operating temperature of -40°C or lower. For high-temperature settings such as smelting workshops, focus on the maximum temperature limit, ensuring stability above 60°C. Always verify the manufacturer’s temperature test reports to confirm performance claims.

Flash memory type and reliability indicators determine lifespan. SLC flash memory is preferred for high-frequency, long-term industrial use (e.g., industrial robots, CNC machines) due to its superior stability and long write lifespan.
